Upon graduation from Rutgers Law School in 1979, where he competed on the Rutgers Moot Court Team, Gary C. Chiumento served as Law Secretary to the Hon. Merritt Lane, Jr. of the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division. In 1983, Mr. Chiumento joined the law firm now known as Harvey-Pennington, where he rose to the position of managing owner. In 2007, Mr. Chiumento formed Chiumento, McNally & Shockley, LLC. Mr. Chiumento, a frequent speaker on issues within the design and business community, is co-author of the book Construction Administration for Architects. Additionally, Mr. Chiumento’s writings have been published in the Marquis Messenger, AIA Practice Digest and New Jersey Lawyer magazine.
